HPS House swimming carnival is on this Friday 2nd November.

Children need to bring the following items to be ready for the swimming carnival:

• Cap
• Towel
• Bathers
• Goggles (optional)                                                                                                                                                                                      Children are encouraged to wear their house t-shirt. Please ensure all clothing is named. 

Lemons will be collected on Thursday!

You can send them in a bag or a box to the office or into the classroom.

Cyber Safety Presentation and Ipad Information Night for 2019 Ipad program

ThinkUKnow CyberSafety Presentation

On Tuesday 16th October we have two presenters visiting our school to talk to parents about how to navigate the internet safely with their children. Graham Higgerson is from Neighbourhood Watch, and Melissa Sharif is a member of the Australian Federal Police.

Only one day after posting an announcement about this event on Compass and it is already half full.

If you would like to attend our free presentation, it is extremely important you RSVP to Jackson.graham.w@edumail.vic.gov.au as soon as possible.

Unfortunately there are only limited places available.

iPad Night

Immediately following the cyber safety presentation, Graham will be discussing the 2019 iPad program. While this event is intended to help current year 2 parents understand how their children can become involved in the iPad program next year, it is open to parents at all year levels.

If your child has been given a letter regarding unexplained absence from school, please complete the details required in the letter and return it to school as soon as possible. 

HPS will celebrate Book Week with a parade tomorrow morning, Wednesday 5th September. It would be lovely to see  parents and grandparents come along to watch the parade. After the parade you are welcome to join with the students in a classroom activity. There will also be a Morning Tea provided in the hall during recess.

I am looking forward to seeing the fabulous costumes the children will be wearing!!
