Welcome back for another very busy term!
We’re off to a flying start, Footy Day activities and Friday Footy Parade – remember to wear your favourite team colours.
Children are reminded to bring their broad-brim school sunhat to school each day. ‘No hat, No Play: Stay in the Shade.’
Reminders:
Outstanding library books should be returned as soon as possible.
Cyber Safety Presentation and Ipad Information Night for 2019 Ipad program
ThinkUKnow CyberSafety Presentation
On Tuesday 16th October we have two presenters visiting our school to talk to parents about how to navigate the internet safely with their children. Graham Higgerson is from Neighbourhood Watch, and Melissa Sharif is a member of the Australian Federal Police.
Only one day after posting an announcement about this event on Compass and it is already half full.
If you would like to attend our free presentation, it is extremely important you RSVP to Jackson.graham.w@edumail.vic.gov.au as soon as possible.
Unfortunately there are only limited places available.
Details about the content of the presentation, and other information about internet safety is available from the ThinkUKnow website http://www.thinkuknow.org.au
Please note, this presentation is intended for parents only, and is definitely not suitable for children.

Immediately following the cyber safety presentation, Graham will be discussing the 2019 iPad program. While this event is intended to help current year 2 parents understand how their children can become involved in the iPad program next year, it is open to parents at all year levels.
Again, if you intend attending please email Jackson.graham.w@edumail.vic.gov.au
